Table Keys

Table Keys are used to define the primary keys for the tables that are used in the platform.

How to create Table Keys
  • Click on the Settings on the taskbar

  • Click on Table Keys menu option. First, three IDs seen on the screen are Platform entity identities. These are default IDs which cannot be edited

  • Enter the Description of the table key and click on Create
  • A message displayed for the successful saving of the record

Mapping table keys to registered tables' keys
  • Once created table keys can be use during Table Registry to map a table's keys to the registered table keys.
  • If the table key is a Primary Key then it is required to be mapped to one of the registered tables' primary key.
  • However if the table key is a secondary keys, it does not require mapping to any specific registered table's primary key.

A Table Key can be deleted if the same has not been mapped with any table.
