Features

Overview

A feature is a calculated object for which the calculation formula has been registered into the platform. Feature calculations can only take data elements and other features as inputs.

How is this used?

Features are used to create other features, create models and write policies.

Creating a Feature

To create a feature go to Feature Registry under Feature engineering.

Example

Case study: If the user has already registered two data elements such as Fico Range High and Fico Range Low then he or she can proceed to create a feature called Average Fico Range which is the average of the Fico score.
