Assigned Entity

Overview

Entities are the core objects that the system recognizes and assigns information to. The entities that the system currently recognizes are: Prospect, Applications, Accounts, and Customer.

Assigning Entities

Entities are assigned during an object’s registration process. Without an entity assignment, an object cannot be created. Additionally, decisions are made on specific entities (e.g., the Underwriting policy management solution works on application entities). Without an entity specification, a policy decision cannot be designed.

Example

User wants to register Loan Grade as a data element. The user needs to decide which entity this data element should be attached to and select the appropriate entity in the form.
