Overview

The definition section defines the source of input and the logic while creating an object/feature. The definition can be captured with or without using the aggregate function. Depending on the object, writing a definition may include specifying the following:

• Source Table- when registering a table/data element

• Source Column- when registering a data element

• Input(s)

• Definition Source-the actual formula, if needed to create the object

Example

A User wants to calculate actual principle based on an array of actual principal repaid for a loan ordered by months on the books.
