Dependents

Overview

Dependents for a given object are other objects that are using that object (e.g., a data element can be used in feature creation, modeling and policies).

This is created while registering an object.. It is also continuously updated as the object gets used and cloned.

Reviewing Dependents

  • Once an object is created scroll down on the details page to view the lineage

  • Click on Dependent tab

  • Click on the object to view its details

  • Further details can be seen by clicking on the Access Full Details link

  • Color palette for objects and sub-objects in a module are same with varying shade. (For example, in Data Vault module, we use dark Trendy Pink for DE, for DataTable and Column we use lighter shade of trendy pink)
