Columns (In Table Registry)

Overview

Columns refer to source columns in the source table that is being registered

How is this used?

Once a table has been registered, its columns will be available to register as data elements within the data element registry.Only columns from tables that have been registered as “cleansed” can be registered as data elements.

Example

The source table Loan_Table.parquet has been registered under the name loan in the table registry. The corresponding registry page display at the bottom of the page the columns that are contained in the source table.

Subsequently, the data element loan_amount has been registered in the Data element registry and mapped to the loan_amnt column
